Hello,

I have a chance to make a trade. My panerai 422 for a new Navi 01 46mm on Croc. From a US AD, new etc.

I bought the Panerai a year ago, and it is beautiful, but I haven't bonded with it.

My only concern with the Navi is the lack of water resistance.

What would you do?

I am not a big Panerai fan but if the AD would go for it on a bracelet I would do it! Used prices on the 422 seem to be about $6000-$6500 which would be a good price for an 46mm 01 Navi on a bracelet. As far as the water resistance is concerned I have never had an issue with any that I owned, I use by Superocean Steelfish when I plan on swimming!!

If you haven't bonded with it yet, I 'd say send it on it's way. I'd make that trade, especially if my wrist was a little bigger!

Personally I'd never sell that 422 in a million years!!!! But then I happen to really want a 422 so I'm hugely biased! :lol:

However, what I (or anyone else for that matter) thinks is totally irrelevant, because if you haven't bonded with it then you probably never will.......in which case, chop it in for one you do want. And the Navi 46 is a great watch all round. :thumbsup:

yeah thats a tough question. Your 422 is gorgeous and def on my "to do" list. Like you said though, if you haven't bonded with it prob time to move it on.
