hi guys...a little update
i've written a mail to the tech of the Rolex Authorized Dealer of my own town, the one that serviced my grandpa's '40 valjoux 22 chronograph.i've sent him the same pics that are here and i've written the infos that i've recognized in my search.

He answered me after some days...and he told me that he ask to breitling italy that said that the watch must be shipped to swiss and that they don't have the parts anymore. He also told me that the price of the service would had been "monstre"

so i told him about the fact that, same for vintage rollies service,Manufacturers reply everything it's possible..he answer that this is a meaningless point because the watch has a reprinted dial and that some hands are missed.

so....i really don't know how to procede...i can't do a xxxx euro service, and i don't want to have everything changed.
i saw the site of a vintage breitling specialist,i wrote to them but they didn't answer to me at all...and i think the cost could be monstre the same.

how much i could ask if i decide to sell it in the current conditions?

I am sorry, but I've decided not to offer more advice here.

we told you where to go, you decided to go to a "Rolex AD".
we told you NOT to go to Breitling because cost would be huge and results bad - you chose to ignore all advice.

I also can't tell you what price you could achieve, as the new owner would face the same issues - though he might at least be ready to listen.

If you don't want to give advice anymore good for you.
I go to 'a Rolex Ad'..because is The only one tech that i know for real and in person,he work in an AD but i've used him in The past for a vintage '40 chrono,so Rolex isn't about this at all .And i've not told him 'go and ask breitling what to do'..he did it himself and i told him that i'll not do it because my opinion about a correct vintage service is different From him.
The 'i told where to go' ..as i've written,i've tried to have a connection with them (i wrote a mail,or you would have preferred me to get a plane given that i'm in Italy?) but i've had no answer

So,if your personal help to me is this i think you Can peacefully Jump this topic,i'll find a way by myself and thanks to other user,as The ones Who write pm to me and that i thank Also here
Cheers

People who PM you on vintage topics rather than than post publicly very rarely have your interests in mind!

You came to the definitive web forum for knowledge of vintage Breitlings and got the best advice possible from the best people possible. You were given 'an in' to the people who work on the pieces these collectors have and your response was to a) ignore the advice and b) tell them you had ignored their advice before asking for more.

If you want to do your own thing, more power to you, it's your watch, but don't be surprised when members here wish to focus their attention on people who are asking for advice so they can follow it.

My own language is italian, but i think that my english is not so hard to understand.
I've written what i did,
A) i did contact The 'in people' and The Result was to not even receive an answer,
B)so i did ask to my tech (which is ALSO a tech of a Rolex AD but it's ONLY my trusted tech ,a pointless thing but for you it became 'we tell you x, you go to a Rolex ad) that found that it wasn't possible to find parts, even asking to Breitling, and this became a sort of 'you exactly did The opposite of what we've told you' to you. And,Given this,i've Also written that for sure i'd had not sent it to breitling, for The vintage approach that i have.

That's all,no answer From 'in' and when i've just tried to ask something to someone in person near me (a person that prior restored a 1946 chrono without changing nothing of The original parts of The watch as dial hands etc,and a person to whom i've only Made a question) you point your fingers to me.
And i Can bet that That's no interest in people Who have written pM to me telling me 'you Can try this or check this or BLA BLA',and i'm happy that they've not judged nothing but only Tried to help someone after what i've checked, and to me this is The meaning of a forum.
So..please if you're not interested in The topic no problem at all,but please stop telling this story
