Hi there,
Just got this piece at an auction for my wifey, since her first first fine (-ish) watch, a gent's Tag S/EL mysteriously disappeared during her business trip in Moscow  What have i started with the Tag?? Like myself, she's now also into fine vintage pieces, my wallet will be in trouble if it goes on like this :? She spotted this Top Time at the auction, for first sight it seemed correct to me so bidded and won!
Since then I raised concern for two things:
#1 I found weird is that the model no. on other Top Time's is situated a bit lower then the one on this one.
#2 is the lug width is 19mm is quite unusual. Or is it?
Unfortunately i haven't managed to pop the back, i scratched a bit trying, and gave up before doing any more damages...
What are your thoughts? Does it look correct?
Many Thanks,

perfectly correct execution 1, see no issues whatsoever.

case manufactured between 1964 and 1967, movement most probably Venus 188, potentially already marked Valjoux 7730 but doubt that.

congrats, well done !

forgot to mention: please do NOT try to open that case, leave that to a competent watchmaker, the 2003 is a top loader, so the movement comes out from the dial side ;)
