Hi,

A few months ago the chronograph feature of my watch completely stopped working, so I sent it in to Breitling for servicing. They performed a complete overhaul, and I just received my watch. I had never really tested the running the chronograph for extended periods of time before, but now I am doing that and noticing what I think is a problem. I'm hoping that you all can tell me if this is expected behavior or indeed an issue.

Long story short, the chronograph start and stop works fine. However, when the chronograph has been running for a while (20-30 minutes) the hands are reeeallly hard to reset. When I press the reset button, I feel the click but they barely move. I then have to hold the reset button for them to slowly go back into place.

I actually recorded a video here to demo:

I really don't want to have to part with my watch for another 2 months or to have to pay for more repairs. Anyone seen this before or know if it is normal?

Thanks,
Jacob

Certainly not normal, reset should be instantaneous, it needs to be addressed by Breitling under the service warranty.

Thanks for the response. I'm just extremely frustrated because I've sent it in for servicing TWICE and the chronograph still doesn't work properly. I don't know how common issues like this are with mechanical watches, but I guess this kind of thing happens sometimes. I just expect better especially right after getting it serviced. Makes me wonder about the quality of Breitling.
