Hi all

A question for the Breitling experts. I have a 81610 Old Navitimer, and I think it's time to swap the mineral crystal as it does contain scratches and scuffs. I think a sapphire with AR coating would really change the look for the better.

Does anybody know if the old Navitimer 81610 crystal is interchangeable with any of the later Navitimer models?

No idea about interchangeability but Breitling have been thinking placing mineral with sapphire for years during servicing if requested. It depends on sapphire availability but problems are generally more on highly domed crystals so they should be able to handle this one.

Thanks, my mineral crystal is domed. So should be ok right?

They're virtually all domed to some extent, it' the highly curved domes that were more problematic - dive watch style, yours won't have that issue.
