Hi
I understood , but the point I was making is that once you have polished or modified the case , it could be an expensive experiment/costly mistake ...
If you leave the side links of the bracelet brushed , from face-on it will flow and integrate into the brushed case .....
(Note , I mean the side-links as you look front-on not the sides of the links , as-in if the bracelelet is 3 links wide only the middle ones will be polished to contrast with the polished bezel , markets , screws , whatever you decide to do)

)
As I mentioned earlier , my advice would be to do the easily remove able/reversible parts first .
Such as bracelet , markers , screws , bezel .
If you're still undecided , try drawing it or imagining it and pure black and white .
Not monochrome .
Just black and white ....
Once you're happy with the design , symmetry , and relationship between the black part and the white parts . Then it's just a simple case of comparing a negative version to work out which parts should be polished and which parts should be brushed .
Once you get to that stage , it's all pretty subtle if you've done it right ...

Look at my superocean again .
The case is polished and the bezel is brushed
