Up for sale is my grey faced Breitling Avenger Skyland Chrono A13380
Freshly back from a full service (at a cost of £330.00) and running at -3 seconds a day.
Full 12 month warranty and paperwork detailing works carried out.
Purchased from Inglis & Sons of York on 22nd December 2007 (not by me) this has been a bit of love / hate relationship for me. I LOVE the size and functionality but HATE the weight, on the Pro II it is a massive weight to have swinging on the end of your arm (not a great way to start a sales advert- but the truth) so be aware.
It comes with a full double yellow boxset complete with the oblong inner Bakelite box. It has full paperwork consisting of user manual, chronometre certificate, International Warranty booklet which is stamped and dated, service booklet, original yellow sales hang tag stating the model / serial/ model number and the bezel protector .
The watch is sitting on a Pro 2 bracelet that has is sized for a 7.5 inch wrist (unfortunately there are no spare links).
Those of you that know the Breitling brand models will know that the Avenger Skyland comes as standard with a highly polished finish, that was far too “Blingy” for me and so it has just come back from a visit to our very own j111dja who has refinished the main case and bracelet (apart from the caseback) with a 120 grit brushed finish which improves the look and wearability of the piece enormously (stunning job David, thank you). The bezel was left as factory finish and the inner bezel was quite marked (I'm clumsy) so David just did his best on it for me. I haven't worn it since it came back from David and I have left the transparent caseback protector and tape on the bracelet to let the new owner have that "new" feeling you can get from a freshly refinished watch.
