I love Fred's quote: "I’ve never understood why a collector would turn to Rolex and I know I’m quite lonely in this opinion. They are marketing masters and have been for decades, but somehow I can’t really get excited about miniscule differences in dial designs, rails, single or double underlines..."

the article actually does include many & very loud shout-outs to this community and all it's members, we would be nothing without your help.

Superb review and will re-read this many times.
Fred and Rene have changed my entire approach to watch collecting

As a newbie to vintage Breitlings, this article was brilliant! Not just a cataloging of the different families within the Breitling brand, but also thoughtful analysis of the families and models, and contextualized within the wider world of vintage watches. (Yes, I'm aware I'm babbling at this point).

And the killer pictures helped too. Two thumbs up!!

I have been scarce and short on time myself lately. However, I did see the feed off of Watchville and the minute the author mentioned two authoritative resources I just knew who they were. Great article guys.
