Hi, I'm new here as I've started out collecting vintage Omegas but have only recently started exploring Breitlings after seeing WatchFred's nice Facebook pics.

I'm asking about this Breitling Premeir 777 on sale at Chrono24. I like the 'syringe' hands! As far as I can tell:
a. the Venus 175 movt is correct for this, and based on comparison pictures with other Venus 175 calibres, the movt seems Ok.
b. dial possibly original and not refinished
c. there are scratches on the caseback though
d. pushers seem correct
(I'm basing this on other examples found through the Web).

What I'm a little unsure of:
a. is this definitely not a redial? Maybe an older redial? The subdial number arrangement seems a little different from WatchFred's 777 that's seen here: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=34973
b. the subdial hands look different - the 3oclock one seems thicker and shorter, so is it a replacement?

Also, are there any other tells / warning signs I've missed? Opinions most welcome, thank you in advance!

hmmmmm.......
not a refinished dial, but my first "gut feeling" was ref. 790 Premier, not ref. 777 - dials in 777 seem slightly different, but then again a 790 dial would not fit the 777, as the movements are different in size, exampls below.

but basically it is a very nice example with an original Breitling dial from the period, among the nicer pieces I have seen recently.

I was firslty thinking it is a redial as I was quite a bite surprised by the subdials being so close to the inner scale of the dial (especially 5 and 45 being inside subdials) but as Fred showed us the same ref with same dial I must admit I was wrong!
Always good to learn something before going to sleep :)

Fred any idea what the vertical numbers or letters are above the 6 and in between the subdials to the right of the chrono hand tail on Nicolas's dial.

Sorry Fred I just figured it out. It must be security for the Photo.
