Hello,

I don't post on here very often (ever?), but I am a frequent lurker. I have this watch listed under the same username on WUS forums where I have plenty of references. I have no problem verifying my identity by sending a message through there. I thought that this watch may be of interest to some of you fellow Breitling enthusiasts.

For your consideration I have a Breitling Navitimer 01 LE (AB0121) with the amazing B01 in-house column wheel chronograph movement in a perfectly sized 43mm case. The limited edition such as this one is the only way to have an exhibition caseback in the perfectly proportioned 43mm case. The watch was originally purchased in 2011 and comes with all the paperwork and boxes. The watch is mounted on an OEM black military strap with red lining on a deployant buckle. A black calf strap in excellent condition and no staining will also be included in the sale (I forgot to include it in the pictures). I had the watch serviced by BUSA in March of this year, where I had them install the military strap. It's great for the summer as it is lined with rubber. The watch has a remainder of the 1 year service warranty from Breathing This piece is in excellent, near mint condition. There is a very, very faint scratch in the AR coating on the crystal near 11 o'clock (50 and 55 markers on the slide rule). I tried to photograph it as best as I could, but it's invisible 95% of the time (especially out of direct sunlight) and would not be noticed if not mentioned. Breitling service tech did not think the scratch warranted crystal replacement, and they are pretty strict. Included in the sale is everything that originally came with the watch from the authorized dealer.

The watch has been extremely accurate since the service. The chronograph works flawlessly and the slide rule operates smoothly. It's an absolute joy to wear and use. This is easily my favorite modern Breitling. Its perfect proportions, in-house calibre, and strong historical background make it one of the most desirable chronographs on sale today. The 43mm size is far more versatile than the 46mm Navitimers and in my opinion, the one to get. It is very difficult for me to let go of this piece, but I am building funds as I will be shortly attending medical school.

I always welcome a face-to-face transaction in the states of RI, MA, and CT. If you'd like to talk on the phone, I will be happy to provide it through a PM. Please do not hesitate to ask any questions or ask for more pictures, I'll be happy to assist.

Priced at $5750 shipped/insured overnight. Buyer covers the PayPal fees.

Thank you,
Marek

A couple of questions: Why was it serviced? Is the black calf strap from Breitling with the watch originally? Could you post a picture of it as well? I assume the deployment buckle works with both straps? Thanks.

I'm happy to answer those. The watch was serviced as it was running around 15 seconds fast. It was originally purchased in 2011, so it was time to do the service anyway. There were no other mechanical issues with the watch. The calf strap included is actually only 6 months old, but it is the same part number strap that originally came with the watch. Yes, the deployment buckle works with both straps. Here are two quick pictures of the calf strap that's included with this sale. Thanks for the questions! ImageImage
