As life would have it my grail watch has become available and my wife says I need to finance it through the sale of some of my collection. I wish I could say I was going to take the money and sail, fly or motorcycle across the world but, that is not going to happen just yet! All of the following watches are from my personal collection and all were bought through Authorized Distributors and or the Breitling Boutique in New York City! As such, all of the watches come complete with all paperwork and boxes! Please note that all pictures were taken with my IPhone and as such may not be the best. If you see something and would like more pictures let me know and I will do the best I can to get them to you! I am located in the New York City area and would welcome a Face to face transaction.

The first up is a LNIB Red Gold Navitimer 01, reference number RB012012/BA49, this watch is LNIB only because I wore it one night for a total of six hours, it comes on a black leather strap with a red gold tang buckle. It currently has well over four years left on the warranty. Check out the following photos:

Next up is a Limited Edition that would appeal to those located in the States. It is a Navitimer 01, Honor Flight Edition, BNIB, this still has the protective plastic on it and has spent its entire life in the safe. Reference number is AB01201F/C887, and to those who enjoy special numbers it is #1/56. As #1 it represents the state of Delaware, it was purchased in November of 2013 and has three years plus left on the warranty. For those of you who are not familiar with this watch part of the proceeds were donated by Breitling to the Honor Flight, an organization which provides trips to Washington DC for WWII veterans to see the recently completed World War II memorial. The box for this watch was autographed by Veterans who starred in the Honor Flight Movie, I will provide the buyer with a sealed copy of the movie.

Up next is a Blackbird Redstrike, another Limited Edition, #485/2000, one of my favorites, worn sparingly in rotation with numerous others! Reference number is A44359, comes with a brushed pilot bracelet. Watch was purchased in May of 2012 and as such it is no longer under warranty. A couple of pictures to look at!









Asking price is $4750, I will do paypal on this one if you pick up the fees. As always a FTF is welcome!

Last one that I have pictures of ready to go is a Chronomat 01, 44mm, with a beautiful display back, Reference number AB011110/BA50, this one is also a Limited Edition #626/2000, originally purchased in March of 2012, so it has two years left on its warranty, it has been back to Breitling for it's two year checkup and passed with flying colors. Again, this was worn sparingly in rotation with many others. Here are some pictures to check it out.











Asking price is $5500. All of the watches are available for local inspection and if you live close by I might be willing to take a road trip and deliver it or them in person.

Ditto. I need to know what grail watch would make you sell the Honor Flight chrono.

I must confess, my wife didn't tell me that I had to sell any of my collection in order to chase my grail watch. I just do not feel comfortable laying out a considerable amount of money for another watch. The above watches are some that I truly love but the others in my collection that would help bring down the cost mean more to me than those above. For the record, my wife initiated my interest of watches with a present of a SuperOcean Steelfish a few years back. Since that time the collection has grown substantially and she has never once said anything about the size of my collection. Needless to say, she has claimed a few for herself and that is a small price to pay for having an expensive hobby! The Honor Flight watch is a truly beautiful watch, and although #1/56 is a great collectors item I was actually looking for #2/56 but that was sold to the producer of the movie! In the interest of not compromising my quest I will wait to I have my grail in my possession before making it public!! Trust me, it is Beautiful!!
