Are there different case/bezel-sizes known?

Seems, the bezel is too big or the case is too small (pic 3).

I posed a similar question a couple weeks ago. The consensus I received back was that the cases are slightly different, and each bezel does not necessarily fit on each case. I did not think an attempt would look this bad, though.

Curious to know what the serial # is
