I was hoping someone else who'd had a recent overhaul service with BUK would chip in on this. I was surprised by it as from previous comments I'd inferred that replacement hands were part of the package.

There's someone who posted this quote in Feb this year:

'Necessary Work – Complete Overhaul
Exchange of Hands
ESTIMATE £375.00

Optional Work – Exchange of crystal – existing is scratched £90.00
Exchange of middle case – existing is scratched and dented £275.00'

- which suggested to me that the exhange of hands was included in that £375 overhaul price.

See my copy invoice below, the full service\overhaul for my Crosswind SE came in at £558, but there is no charge for the new hands that were fitted, this was returned in January of this year.

It seems that they charge some people then fit the hands free for others which is pretty poor. Im already starting to lose faith in breitling as it is with the crown just falling off the watch. Im debating selling it when it comes back and moving on to a different brand which is a shame as the model that I have in my eyes is one the nicest watches that I have seen and I had been looking out for that version for a very long time.

This year the prices changed, so hands were free of charge if your watch was with them before Jan 1.
There isn't a standard price for hands so when I booked in last month I was quoted £410 plus the cost of hands.

That will explain why some people will have quotes that include hands and some that do not.

Yes, hands are pressure fit and single use.
