I'm going to buy a LONG PLAYING 7103 NOS (see photo). The price is 1300 euro. I think it's a stock fund. I wonder if anyone can give me directions to avoid fakes or scams. Thanks.

Are you asking for help with actually completing the transaction? Is it a reputable seller and how do they want to be paid?

I will buy the watch from a dealer of vintage watches. Trading will take place directly in person. I do not know this model and I wanted to know if it is 100% authentic or may have been assembled with stock funds. It looks good to me, but I wanted to know the opinion of a expert. Thanks.

A doubt. My watch shows 41 mm in diameter, two watches that I found in ebay 40 mm (see photo). There is someone explain why? The first five numbers of the serial number of my watch-case is 14133. It 'a matter of years of production? Thanks

there is just one ref. 7103 - and the one pictured is correct without doubt, there are NO fakes of this model.

watch is 40mm wide, just like all others (or 39.95 w/ my caliper).

OK, but why in my watch there is write 41 (see picture)? Is it correct?

that is the model reference number of movement module used in the 7103 and 7104, it has nothing to do with the diameter - just like a Navitimer isn't 806mm wide.

Excuse me, but I did not understand. My watch with a diameter 41 (it is write 41) is correct or is a fakes ?

Good evening WatchFred,
I have another question for you. The old owner of the Long Playing, that I purchased (it is fantastic), has a large collection of vintage breitling most of them at nos condition. I asked him if he had a superocean ref. 2105 too. The reply was yes! Now he is calling for a offer from me. The question is: do you have an idea of which price in euro is correct for this fantastic watch? Thank you for your help.

Now I understand, the misunderstanding is born from the fact that the diameter of the watch is effectively 40 mm. There are differences between the model 40/7103 and 41/7103? the movement is always a Valjoux 7740, I guess. Thank you a lot!
