When I was offered this the seller said 'Gold colored watch' and 'Gold Colored flex strap' so I assumed it was Gold Plated

The seller then proceeded to send me more pics *after* we agreed on a price and I paid , and to my very big surprise I then saw it was Stainless steel. Not 'just' stainless steel but in great condition as well with all lume intact and quite a nice creme color

to quote Roff 'not bad at all' ;) for a 70YO watch

Hi San

no movement shots (yet) bought it without seeing the movement , but pusher location suggests valjoux 72C or earlier generation movement

I assume the band is a $10 Speidel flexotronic (or whatever they are called) , why ?.. do you want it ?

Cheers Rene, looking forward to those pics, stunning catch. See it dates to 1945, yours must be the earliest one amongst us, think mine was 1946. The band goes really well with the watch, I won't mind some rose gold bands for my 785s if are available:)
