excellent light today, so did some documentation shots of the Chronomat re. 808 you might find useful.

gen.1 w/ double index at 12 & beaded bezel, 1957-61

gen.2 w/ arrow index at 12, serrated bezel & , applied "B", 62 and later, some transitions, dial finishing totally different.

Hi,

Thanks for the job.

Is it a light effect or is the dial of the first gen "brushed" finished in grey while the dial of the second gen is white without this kind of "texture"?
It seems that sliderule are similar right?

yes, the gen. 1 dial appears brushed, gen. 2 is smooth, totally different textures.
sliderules are the same.

thanks, Tim. 37mm+, actually wearing very large due to the thin bezel and relatively huge dial, very nice dressy watches even today.

strap on the gen. 1 is a Breitling Italy OEM croc, not produced anymore, but really nice.
