Pulled this watch out of winder to wear today and noticed the date was incorrect. Popped crown out and it will not change either day or date..... Waiting for a call back from dealer. Any ideas anyone? :x

90+% of the time is the result of using the quick set date during the 'danger zone'. It may have been broken for several weeks and only show symptoms now because the damaged tooth / teeth aligned with the date change mechanism.

Gottcha, damn I was always super careful about the danger zone deal... Wonder what this is cost me now....... :x :evil:

Have you tried turning the hands forward by 24 or 48 hours and seeing if the day & date change that way?

I have a watch that gets finicky when I try to just change the day & date at certain times. If I turn the hands forward by a day or two, I can then change the day & date as needed. (Not that yours shouldn't be looked at, just a thought.)

Overnight it moved the date ahead then at around 3:30AM stopped keeping time. Hand wound the crown and its back up and running. Very odd....
