Nice looking watch but movement and crown appear to be later than the 1946 case.

later movements do not worry me at all w/ 769s, almost all the 769 w/ early 50s dials have 45/46 cases Paul, we've discussed this with many examples, but then movement markings (that's a later mid 50s movement) and dials/hands are at least both period correct, here we have a mid 40s dial and case w/ a much later movement, don't think it was "born" like this.
