Offered for sale or trade is my Breitling Crosswind Racing. Along with the Chronomat, the various Crosswinds were part of Breitling's Windrider collection. The CWR was larger than the Chronomat of the day and was the immediate precursor to the Chronomat Evolution. It certainly has great wrist presence and wears a little larger than it's 43mm. My reason for selling is it’s very similar to my Chronomat Longitude and I’m looking for something different to both.

The case and bracelet are completely brushed and the palladium dial gives the watch a monochromatic "tool watch" appearance. It comes on the fantastic Pilot bracelet. At the moment it is sized for a 7 inch wrist and has a spare link.

The watch comes with all of its boxes and papers. The warranty says it was originally purchased from Mark Worthington Jewelers in Cheshire, UK on 25.12.03.

The pictures tell the story. The bracelet does have some small marks, consistent with it's age but the watch is in fact in very good cosmetic condition. All functions like Chronograph and date change function as normal. The watch is not currently within COSC specs and is running a consistent 8sec/day slow. The previous seller told me the watch was serviced in UK in 2012 and so should only require regulating to bring it back within specs.

I’m located in Newcastle, Australia and can provide references. Asking price is $2,300 (US) or equivalent. However my preference would be some kind of trade for either a vintage Breitling (especially for a 60s/ 70s Chrono- matic but let’s see what you’ve got) or an SOH 42.

Paypal is fine: we can split the fees but buyer pays postage.
