Hi, I'm new to vintage watches but after a lot of searching and lurking am considering buying a 806. it's clear there are many variations so would appreciate any comments on this watch. Serial no 116xxxx rolled gold from 1967.

The chrono sweep second hand doesn't look right?

Are period correct hands very difficult to find?

You'll have to have a lot of patience , normal white hands are offered on ebay sometimes at very high prices (200-300 for a single hand)

gold hands are virtually impossible to find but who knows, one might be offered tomorrow !

other than the hand the watch seems all OK

Thanks for the info. I suspected the hands might be rare. Don't suppose there are any better gold equivalents that the one that is currently on the watch and if so is there a size/dimension to look for?
