Hey everyone! I just but a Transocean Chronograph, absolutely love the watch, about a month ago. Unfortunately, I was using the chronograph and it was slightly tough to press in, but nothing too crazy. I pressed it in to test it, it worked fine, albeit with what seemed like a tiny bit more resistance than I would assume.

One month has passed since I bought the watch (from the Breitling Boutique in NYC, so no retail discount! :uplaugh: ), and now if I use the chronograph the pusher gets depressed and I only can pull it out by putting my nail underneath the pusher to pop it out.

Anyone with experience know what I can do? It's still under warranty, can I just stop by the boutique and drop it off without calling ahead? Any one with knowledge know how long it would take to fix this?

Thanks!

Seems to me that it would need Breitling service, being such a new piece I wouldn't want to further damage it by operating a potentially broken part of the watch. As for how long, or what is causing it I wish I had more info for you. Good luck!

Thanks! Fortunately when I bought that one, I also bought another one as motivation for me to work hard this year to wear it. I guess it'll be the substitute ;)

(Blackbird Blacksteel. I just put it on and said wow, haha)

That sucks that it needs to be serviced. Once I realized it would get stuck I un-stuck it and tried it again to see if it would get stuck or if it was a one time thing, got stuck again, un-stuck it and haven't worn it since. I guess I'll bring it in!

You aren't going to damage it further, the return spring has broken which will be an easy fix under warranty.

Do I have to bring in the warranty card too or should they know? I bought it a month ago and am going out so I'll be able to stop by the boutique, but would prefer to not carry the warranty card

If you are going to where you bought it they will have a record, but carrying the warranty is still a good idea.

If you bought the watch at the Breitling Boutique there is no need to bring the digital warranty card with you. They will have a record of the watch not only by it's serial number but also by your name. I recently dropped off my Super Avenger Military for warranty work the first week in December and I had it back by the first week in February! If you can wait I would suggest that you call them and sign up for flight night which is held the first wednesday of every month. Its a very nice GTG and you can drop you watch off and have a great time doing it. Speak to your salesperson and they will put you on the list!

Thanks for the responses :) I think I might try and get in on Monday and do it because I want the watch back ASAP. The current watch I'm wearing I had to put on my wrist because I feel naked without a Breitling now!

Also for all the hate blacksteel gets on this forum, I absolutely adore this BS Blackbird...!
