It's a bit hard to tell with out matching papers, although it appears to be legit. The seller is offering 100% money back guarantee so that should be a good sign. I woul wait for further confirmation before pulling the trigger.

I don't like the look of that dial. The white parts should look quilted - here they don't. That might be due to a very bad picture, but got me weary. Also, all Flying B's I've seen has had a silver frame around the date. Here, the frame is black. Finally, seller is asking $ 2500-5000 LESS than most other sellers. I would stay far away.

As far as I am aware there is nothing approaching a good fake of this model, and I suspect that the poor photography is causing the silver to look black and the dial to look flat. It's real for me, but I would still want better photos.

You can't see the serial number because it's not there, unless the person has used photoshop to blend it in very well. It says it doesn't come with box or papers and some of the ones I've seen online have the serial number right below the model number. I don't know much about this model but maybe someone who owns one will know if the serial number is on all models? Also... Just ask the seller for the serial number and get in touch with Breitling. They will at least tell you if it's a real serial number.

And just as an FYI... The seller's last 250 sales (going back almost 6 months) where feedback was left... Not a single item over USD 1,000. Might not mean anything but I've realised that these eBay power sellers get their high feedback ratings selling small items generally so it is no indication of trustworthiness etc.

If you can get the serial number all you have to do is Google it. Positive feedback doesn't really matter, I've seen power seller with 10,000+ positive feedback still trying to sell fakes or passing off a broken watch as fully functional. Just make sure you know authenticity for sure before you pull the trigger.

Hello, I would like to say thanks for the replies. I contacted the seller and got some better pictures. The inner dial is quilted and the trim around the date and Breitling for Bentley logo is sliver. The watch has no serial number on it And that's a big red flag for me. This watch also sold back in January and was either returned or never paid for then relisted. If its legit its a great deal but I am going to pass on this one I just don't feel comfortable with it. Thanks for the help and info Steve

back of serial number simply means a grey market sale originally. Not remotely unusual for this model which simply didn't sell (and Breitling ended up buying a load back from ADs, although no one is supposed to know that).

No, it was distributor driven so varied from region to region depending on how the distributor felt about pieces sitting at 50% off and still not selling. And the chrono was the best selling of the lot of them........
