Hello. I have a few breitlings I purchased new but I found myself wanting a chrono avenger in titanium which I could use daily without being concerned if it picks up a scratch or two like my others. I just purchased one on ebay and based on my limited experience it seems legitimate at least from the exterior. No warranty cards or receipt but has the other breitling ppwk and case you would expect. I did notice however that there was no rapid date change when I looked at the watch shortly before 12. Instead it was sitting halfway between two dates. When I manually turned the hands back and forth it looked like it starts to change around 11 and that a final rapid click into position occurred right around 3 minutes past 12. Can anyone tell me if this is the proper function for this model or if not could it be a matter of servicing. Thank you. E13360 I believe is the model number stamped on the back.

Caliber 13 (Valjoux 7750) does not have an instant date change - in fact very few mechanicals do. What you describe is perfectly normal, but your actions could have damaged the date change - you should never wind time backwards or use the quick set date in the 'danger zone' of 9pm to 3am. Symptoms of a problem would be inconsistent date change on different dates and / or the date not sitting square in the window.

Thank you very much for the information. No one had ever mentioned that to me before.
