I was struck by the beauty of the A17390. At any rate, providing the New England weather cooperates, it is due on Monday afternoon. I'm excited to receive it to say the least.

I'm a toughie all righty; thanks for the replies, all. Hopefully the watch will prove to be as tough. And truthfully, there were a fair number of views and no responses. I was beginning to thing that the Steelfish had gone out of favor with the new ceramic bezelled Superoceans. I've got a Sub which is also ceramic bezelled and the new SOs are too big for me and too close in style.

Interesting purchase story; first I was buying a white dialed one when the seller reneged. Because it was w/o box and papers I decided to buy one with the full package and ended up with this one. Strangely the seller is from a few miles from where I grew up and is almost an equal WIS. I've been tracking the package and it's definitely en route. My discussions with the seller started with him asking me to baby it as much as he has. Pretty likely a keeper. Thanks for the "Congrats."

It certainly is. I've had 3 of the blighters......and I regret not owning one at the moment. As someone else has said in this thread, the SF is a real iconic piece IMO, and in fact I think it made my personal "top 5 Breitlings" in a thread we had running a few years ago.

I had the same B17 movement in my previous SO (not the SF though). Very accurate and sturdy timepiece. Enjoy, and congrats!!
