I'm sorry That Looks like a Timex with the Breitling name...$5000? Not from me, Breitling for me is all about the BIG Chronos and Navtimers. Don't care for the Colts. or dress watches

$5000 is extremely wishful thinking. My guess is that this will be priced in the $8.5-9K range. Looking at it again a week later, I still think it looks good on the brown croc.

I'm a bit late to the party but have enjoyed reading the responses. Reminds me a little of days of old, as others have observed.

I'm one of those people that likes the look of a lot of the vintage Breitlings, and would love to own one (or several) one day, but I haven't yet made it a priority to study the field and thus would be very nervous about buying one. Given the access we have on the forum to those that are passionate and knowledgeable in the field (and generous with time and information - for which we are very lucky), I'll be asking for assistance one of these days for sure.

I have mixed feelings about the 1915. The large arabic numbers look a little strange compared to the 'smaller' subdials. The greyed-out oval in the middle is little odd also. I do like the size, date, and pushers and the overall vintage-ish look is ok for me. Overall, despite some 'weirdness' about the watch, I think I could get to like it a lot given time. It's certainly a lot better than some other recent releases, which in and of itself, is a big plus.

Heck of a lot of debate on this one! Good stuff.

I actually really like this one, but I am pretty open in my tastes and like a wide ranges of styles.

Very curious about what the price will be, it is a new movement, and from what I have been lead to believe, it will be based on the B01. I wondering how much more that the current pricing levels of the B01?

Hate's a strong word... "Naturally, we could do without the date, but the narrow window doesn't seem to distract from the dial as much as date windows can..."

I saw a brief mention of this on the Watchville app, thought about stopping by (been a crazy week) but thought, ah, maybe some discussion but its been awfully dead there lately. What a pleasant surprise reading through this, despite a couple of barbs overdone.

I do like the monopusher idea but I'm in the camp that thinks the script is way out-of-scale large and proportions are off. Like the idea, just not sold on the execution. That LE I do like, as well as the other Transoceans, but I still can't fully bring myself to the nearly-$10K price tag. Some pretty tough competition at that point.

I am still a 'modern" guy, came close a time or two to trying vintage like a kid inching his toes to the edge of the pool, haven't yet jumped in. I don' t have the knowledge to parse the distinctions of some of the classic models but, despite a couple of off-putting features, I like the Black Bay. The Longines Legend Diver is a nice effort and a great buy. Probably my favorite new Breitling is the humble SOH 42. Even though it's really not a retro, my Chrono-Matic SE is going nowhere.

Living in a desert, I have found I need a full sized bracelet, and not always mesh, which is limiting for vintage purposes. The SE is my strap watch. Still, one of these days... In the meantime, this is fun again.

I like it. I wish they would have gone 39-40 x 11-13. Love the inhouse movement.
