Just picked this one up today. Wrongly (?) labeled as Gold on steel in an auction. I've not found more information about this reference than in a thread on this forum though. Any comments? Haven't seen many of them for sale so hard to find an aprox. value? Correct crown?

The case looks unpolished to me (some wear marks but otherwise in very good condition). Dial is perfect and hands looks really nice too. Sadly some inscription on the back but it's part of the history of the watch!

Kaplans ? need to watch more Swedish auctions. nice piece, clearly solid 18k; ver late 50s, very early 60s.
had a beautiful box that came w/ it, too bad that wasn't included.

re value: we have seen delusional asking prices, but ebay auctions end between 1.5 an 2k

Nice! I'd be interested in seeing the inside of the back cover. Looks 18k but not like one I've seen before.

Most likely would have had a signed crown but the serial number will clarify that.

Thanks for all the feedback!

The serial looks like it is 9106XX.

Any thoughts on finding a new crown? Doable or "good luck"?

Some pictures taken today.
Really like this watch, wears much bigger than 35mm.
