All just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on the Avenger II Chronograph? I was dead set on getting the new Colt Chronograph, but after trying the Colt Chronograph on I totally felt disappointed. Looked at the baton version of the avenger, but really like the look of the Arabic numbers. Does anyone have any feedback on the avenger along with images and/or wrist shots. Either going for a ocean racer or pro 3, bracelet is a little too blingy for my taste. Thanks!

The most rugged looking model in Breitling range. Personally prefer baton version but it's a matter of personal taste so just go for whichever u prefer. However I strongly encourage that u go for metal bracelet and buy another ocean racer or pro 3 because if u regret in future and decide to buy the metal bracelet it will be more costly to buy the metal bracelet separately. Good luck

:yeahthat

I've made that mistake twice. Even if you don't like the bracelet and put it in a drawer, it's a massive resale asset.

You guys are twisting my arm on the bracelet. Tried on a tungsten gray model today and as much as the bracelt is quite shiney I might purchase it that way with a military strap. They had a superocean
steelfish on one and looked strong. Definitely going to opt for a volcano black face. Thanks for the help!

I'd buy the bracelet as well with the initial purchase just to have around.

I had the 43mm Avenger 2 chrono with baton and bracelet, I loved the dial but the finishing of the bezel was quite sharp and didn't feel as well polished off as older avengers I had so I flipped it after a few months.

Also, the feel of the bracelet felt light and almost cheap.

Guys not sure what to do, I have the opportunity to either acquire the Avenger II Chronograph in Blue or the predecessor Avenger Chronograph. Strap is up in the air with either pro 3 deployment or ocean racer, but can't decide on which model. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Well as for the strap options I always found the Ocean Racer to be extremely comfortable and more supple compared to the diver pro straps. Maybe except the DP1. As for the watch I would go for the newer Avenger Chrono 2 in blue, but try to get it with the bracelet and add the strap after the fact. Save you some bucks!

Thanks for all the opinions, made a run to the Breitling Boutique and after trying on several different avengers, I decided I'm going to order the Avenger II on a Pro 3 with Deployment. Bracelt unfortunately is just useless to me, way too shiney. Thanks for your opinions!
