Hello,

I am not sure this is properly posted here, but couldn't really find a better section. Google didn't really help much, and searching the forum did not provide any relevant results.

I would like to know if the below pictured buckle is an original Breitling 16mm buckle (as it was presented to me) or a simple coincidence with the "B" symbol.
I saw something similar here but the symbol is centered, not on the left.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

this looks original to me, either with the B or without , I have seen both and I believe both are correct

old straps tapered from 22 to 16 mm , I still may have some buckles but they are quite useless as I cant find nice 22 to 16 mm straps

but I have never seen one like this , but I may not have seen everything that was available 50-60 years ago !!

Buckle pictured by René is original from Breitling SA's early period .
Buckle pictured as attached on the first post is a chinese copy .
Boops of the 2e chinese girl from left probably are not original too :geekfuman:

Hi saabreit,

Thank you for your opinion! My knowledge of Breitling accessories is quite limited (not that I am remotely close to form opinions on the watches either) so this forum helps a lot.

I cannot comment on the Chinese breast dilemma, as unfortunately I get some boring toy helicopters as a commercial instead :D
