Hi guys,

Any thoughts on this piece? Can't find anything similar on the net...to my amateur eyes it does look enticing..but is this piece correct?

Thanks in advance,
KK

hmmmmmmm........

nice it is, but a 1944 case and a post 1953 dial, no "Premier" - that also seems about 1mm too small for the case .......

don't think the dial started it's life in this case, sadly.

question(s) ,

why would you want to turn down and sand down the caseback ? (look at how the ladies head is worn down) and then how come the numbers are not worn down at all and do not show wear like the ladies head ?

- what needed to be hidden by sanding down the back
- why does it look like the numbers were added after sanding ?
