I purchased this watch years ago at an estate sale and have always been curious if it is real or not.
I am unable to find another watch with this bezel/crown/logo combination so I am having doubts.
Any insight would be appreciated and thank you!

Thank you @Brizzybrad!!!

Just to confirm - that should mean it is 18K gold as well??
Would the bezel be solid or plated?

Thanks again

Bezel is solid gold. Bracelet links are not solid.

Very nice! Glad to see you wearing it as well!

I noticed something strikingly different in our watches though,
why doesn't mine say "TACHYMETER"?
I have seen both versions and am wondering if this can help identity the production year.
Now I'm curious about the movement as well.... Would the B and D models share the same movement?

I am thinking about having it serviced to make sure it will last and to put my mind at rest :)

Thanks again for your help!

Don't worry, its still real! The B and D models have the same movements. The prefix letter of the model ref. indicates the material of the watch. A= Steel, B = Steel with gold bezel tabs, pushers, crown, D= steel with gold bezel, etc
