I bought this watch for EUR 900 from a collector and unfortunately I can not find any historic references about this Breitling watch.
I assume there are no fake vintage watches, however due to fact I can not find any references I wonder if the watch is original?
Can anyone confirm WHY this watch is original, franken watch or fake?
On the back i only find a reference number 975843.
Enclosed please find some photo’s of the watch.

watch is a poor fake, sorry, no way to put it less bluntly.

I have no idea why you assume there are no fake vintage watches, a whole industry in South America and China is thriving, at least two thirds of the vintage Breitling on the market are fakes.

why, you ask. Because Breitling never built a model like this, the serial number would date the watch to 1963, about 6 years before the movement installed in the watch was launched.

no part of the watch is authentic.
