It's always a gamble. The longer you wait the more you can reduce the price, but you also risk someone else popping in and spending all the money full retail just to get the watch.

I've made a few great deals by waiting, but I also "lost" a few watches this way.

Hi Boothba,

I have very good, ongoing relationship with my AD but he will never discount the LE models during the first few months after release. Only if they (rarely) hang around in the shop for many months will he negotiate on price.

That is in the UK. If you are in the USA, where discounts are more willingly given, I guess you may have a different experience.

The AS Blacksteel was relatively easy to get ahold of 6 months after it first hit ADs and that was only $2,000. I got mine in April for almost my normal discount. I'm sure that in the New Year there will be deals to be had.
