Just seen this for sale on ebay Blue and Gold EM.
I've never seen a Blue and Gold EM before, but that's not what is confusing me. This Blue/Gold EM http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330273032323 is apparently manufactured in 2008 according to the description.

The first EM's had grooved pushers and the 1,2,4,5,7,8,10 and 11 numerals on the dial are significantly smaller than the newer version of the EM which has smooth pushers and not the grooved ones.

I logged onto www.breitling.com to check if Breitling had reverted back to the older stying of the EM and this has only confused me more.....all the Versions of the EM's have the more recent styling, larger numerals, smooth pushers and the raised Breitling logo, but if you choose to view the 360 degree view, the styling is of the older EM with smaller numerals, grooved pushers and the Breitling Logo painted on the dial.

I've just noticed that the Blue/Gold EM is on the Fighter Bracelet, and on the Breitling website all the EM versions come on the Pro II, whereas you've guessed it, the 360 degree one is also on a Fighter????!!!!????

What's going on? Are there two versions of the EM being produced simultaneously or have Breitling just not updated their 360 degree photo?
If so, then the Blue and Gold EM for sale on Ebay surely cannot have been produced in 2008 and will actually be old new stock??

Any ideas?

I believe that the auction EM is NOS and 360 view on the Breitling homepage hasn't been updated.

I normally don't like the Mission but this one is very nice... :? Must be the blue dial and the gold accents. Really stands out from the usual Mission. Still prefer the Professional but could live with this one.

I think it looks great, and would be even better if it had a 24h UTC attached. At least one can dream.

My Mission is on a fighter bracelet.

I didnt know much about it when i bought it (bracelet wise) , but only after looking online etc i see that they come with the Pro bracelet.

Looks like mine and mine is from 2003, maybe its old stock........?

Heres a quick photo. Not the best just took it on the table LOL.

Thanks, not a flash pic though but i guess you get the gist of the watch.

I have unscrewed it a little lol but then screwed it back in.

The big problem is when someone askes to look at your watch and you hand it to them. A couple of times i have had to YELL to stop someone from unscrewing it out. Accidently forget to mention the nature of the watch and the ramifications of setting it off.

I will try and take some good pics and post them up when can work the camera properly without blurring the photos. It seems to be a skill ;)
