Not wanting to start the case back stamping debate again I though I'd share my latest vintage Breitling aquisition.

You will have seen it very recently.

I can live with the minor imperfection as the watch is in great shape, very sharp especially with new strap as opposed to the original bracelet.

Does anyone know how many 7806S's would have been produced? I understand the were made between 1972 and 1974?

To figure out how many were produced would take 'some' work and investigation

What I do is , find as many different pieces as possible through google, bing, duck go , antiquorum, christies , ebay past sales etc amd note the serial numbers . It is my firm belief that Breitling ordered cases serialized in batches of 1000 pcs. Try to figure out how many batches they sold through the serial numbers you collected and you can make an educated guess

Will, great to read that you finally got the watch! The real deal is the bracelet with the special endlinks for the 806-case!
