service would be in the range of $/€300-400 typically, make sure you get somebody competent for that job, though I see no issues here that require the hands of an artist.

watches originally came on black or dark brown calf leather w/o stitching, but look great on tan too; Rallye straps work, as do croc straps (make sure to get the real deal and no fauxCroc like that ebay listing).

you'll notice the "panda" subdials aren't black, but a beautiful anthracite.

edit: just saw that in the first known catalog it appears to be mounted on a black "Tropic" Rallye, would not be my personal choice.

cleaned up and on a decent strap i can actually see that appealing to me, they look very classy. i have a beautiful JLC master chrono on tan/black/stainless straps and a carrera chrono, i'm currently wearing his beautiful seamaster which has been refurbished and i just dont know if i would actually wear this one. i'm in the UK and would need to find/speak to a suitable company or recommended company for a cost of service. it certainly needs bringing back into use, its been languishing in a jewellery bag for a few years at least. i never actually saw him wear it, the omega was on his wrist constantly.
