"The Corpus Clock is a large sculptural clock on the outside of the Taylor Library at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge. It was conceived and funded by John C. Taylor, an old member of the college. It was officially unveiled to the public on 19 September 2008 by Cambridge physicist Stephen Hawking."

£1,000,000 for a clock which is accurate only once every 5 minutes!

There's a video in the Guardian article which shows it working. Very strange beast indeed!!!

Interesting info, although the clock seems to be a little overpriced according to it's accuracy.
