This could be a franken. IMO, a poor one.
If it was 2009,why has it got a Pro 1 bracelet? Retrofitted perhaps, but seems like someone wants to add provenance.
Could be fitted with genuine dial, the movement is an elaborate ETA decorated one but I think the rotor is wrong, it should also have the script in French along the lines of "chronographe certifie chronometre" ? Every B13 breitling I've ever had,had this scripted rotor.

Also, the matching serial number should be on the plate of the winding mechanism. I don't see it.
The case clamp screws do not look like Swiss quality, they are a bit chewed up.
There's no logical reason why the B is missing off the bezel.
The fake bezel screws are not actual screws, they just spin and spin. That's one way to check.

There's a similar thread here

As 1952 said it might be a franken. That would explain all the strangeness. But i do know for a fact that the movement is the real deal. Its not the original movement that comes with the watch when you buy it brand new but its a authentic movement that breitling puts in the case if u need a B13 movement swap for any reason. That would explain the missing serial on the rotor. The dial is definetly authentic. As for the missing B on the bezel im not sure if thats something that is missing on a new bezel if breitling made a swap there aswell? I never needed a new bezel but imo the bezel on the pics looks flawless except for the missing B.

But as always its hard to tell by pics. Ask the seller if the watch has been serviced at any time and if so, what was done in the service. If he doesnt tell you its been serviced or about the movement swap its a 100% franken.

On the genuine movement, the serial is not on the rotor, it's on the winding module plate.

If the movement was swapped out for whatever reason, it wasn't done by breitling. That makes it non original in my book and not worth original money. Worth perhaps the price of the Swiss parts.

The bezel sans the B is very strange, every ling I've had including the latest Evo, has the B on the bezel, so I don't think they ever differed in that respect.

Would be interested to know if this passed the pressure test!

Also, the manufacture date stamp on the case 4816, has got to indicate that this is a fake.

There are far too many questionable issues for this to be a one off error from Switzerland.

I did not mean that breitling made the swap. But i know that breitling uses that movement as a replacement movement if u need a new movement for any reason. So that is a authentic B13.

Regardless im all in on 1952's oppinon on this watch. It just smells to fishy about the watch overall. And the date on the case is a dead give away. I wouldnt buy it!

Unfortunately,if bought over the Internet, a buyer would not notice any of these things until he had it in his hand.
