Hello there,

I'm abit short on competance about clocks and i'm looking to buy a pretty decent one i found on a foreign website.

I don't have any particullary good pictures of the clock except the one from the site which i found it on, anyhow is there anything particular you can say about this one?

Thank you.

Thank you so much,

I'm one of those who like ot be 100% sure before making such a move. And i'm also interested in learning about watches.. How can you tell it's real?

I don't think the owner got any papers on the watch either. Is that a major concern?

You are welcome.
Good move to ask here before purchase.
It's an older model and I'm not sure if there's any fakes of it, if there is, they look crappy.
No doubts on this one.
Papers won't be concern to me, b/c warranty expired long time ago.

It sure looks good.

I know it's abit hard to tell since they dont stamp them with production date. But about how old do you think it is, and what is a decent prize for it?

I don't do pricing. Best way is to monitor closed auctions on ebay.
It's from cca 1998-2001.

I guess about 1500 USD isn't that bad, some went over some went under.

Too much for an old quartz, if you ask me.
You can get nice automatic for a bit more.
Try to monitor buy/sell section on this board, there are some good deals sometimes.

Taken the price level in the Country in concideration it's abit hard to tell. I'm pretty sure i could get it for about 1300, but i have not presented any offers yet.

What worries me is such things as warranty at this very point, i'm not sure how the clock even looks when i get it in hands. You seemed pretty sure it's not a replica or fake so i'm happy about the judgement. If there is any second hand opinion please give me a heads up about it.

But about warranty, is that no option without papers?

Yes, I'm sure. If I wasn't sure, I'd wrote that.

Warranty is valid two years since purchase day (5 years with in-house calibers).
You can still send it to Breitling for an overhaul and pay for that.

It's around 38mm, so not very big for today standards.

I cant really find a good picture on a wrist that is not obviously taken for the context of sale.

A friend of mine found another one, could you please verify this one too? I'd be very excited.

There is estimated about 1500 USD for this one aswell, which one is the better watch? I got to admit i admire the Chorno because of its more detailed look. But who can't love a black With a red dot Arrow?

I would always take Automatic over the quartz, but not with that price.
Had the same model, serviced and couldn't sell it here for a third less.
You'll avoid overpaying if you prolong you purchase a bit, until you are familiar enough with prices.
