Got the Navitimer back from Chronodeco several weeks ago. What a transformation ! Hard to believe it's the same watch we sent him. Thanks to the forum for stearing us to Craig, but more importantly Thank You Craig ! Carefull, thoughtfull, expert work------and some good off-topic conversations. I am having trouble, as usual, loading a pic Craig provided of the "new" watch face. I'll work on that tonight. Hey, everybody likes "show & tell".

Can anyone suggest a realistic value range for this '55 aopa venus 806? We have decided to sell it, and can't find recent sale activity. This is not a happy moment for us, and not our original plan, but we all agree it's the right thing to do. Discriptions, and history are available on our posts ( bravo806 ) Thanks, Steve

The cleaning solutions and cleaning techniques used on the dials that I clean are something that took me the better part of 5 years to develope after testing a LOT of spare old dials that were rendered useless. Someday when I hang it up, I will share this information.
Yes my first name is Sherman. This guy was my great, great grandfather - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Tecumseh_Sherman
The name Sherman has been given to the 1st born of each generation since then.
Thanks to all for the nice comments - happy I can do it.

Thanks for the post Sherman, I was wondering if it was purely cleaning that was done or if the dial or lume needed to be altered in any way to achieve this result. Great work
