Dear Friends,
here's a 785 I chanced upon with a rarer dial configuration with gold dots for markers on the dial. I initially wasn't sure about this configuration so contacted Fred (Watchfred) who confirmed it was all original. I then came across some advertisements (seen in pics) showing the same dial configuration so I knew I had to breathe life into this watch. Off it went to our resident Breitling expert Craig (Chronodeco) who did his best to preserve this watch for the future. Offcourse the dial does show it's age so not much could be done about that but Craig put in plenty of effort into getting the movement and parts working again besides some other essential repairs. Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Really nice.

Craig is a great asset to the forumites. I've been adding to my chrono collection over the year and I think I've put 5 watches through to Craig - 3 Breitlings and 2 Angelus'. I find it the process of finding something that someone neglected in the back of a drawer or lived with on a daily basis for years and years, and setting it up for the next 50 years immensely satisfying. Not possible without skilled watchmakers like Craig of course.

Thanks buddman. True, the experience of resurrecting an old piece is surely a rewarding process and thanks to Craig, can be converted to reality.
