Why oh why does this POS get up to 5K when good honest pieces sometimes struggle to get 3.5K

here's a similar "all original" '58 by Bill Shaine, he mentions somewhere the dial has been relumed, but fails to mention the incorrect hands .....

I always wonder who the guys buying these watches are, I mean one would think they would at least cross check on a forum before plonking thousands on a vintage watch?:) I guess not!
