Hello ladies and gentlemen. First time on the forum and first post, looking for some help please.

I've never been a big watch kind of person but as of late, I've been getting into them a lot more. My father has had this Breitling watch for a few years now but he doesn't wear it any more. So I asked him if I can have, and pops says sure take it I don't need it. He told me it was real and he also told how incredibly little he paid for it too, which is why I'm a little skeptical. Not saying he's lair, it's just no way he paid that price for a watch like this. I don't think he bought it new either. Then again, I don't know much about Breitling. The strap I remember this watching having when he did wear it has gone missing but, I did find a picture of what I recall it to look like.

I tried to look on web for the same watch but can't find anything. I also watched some videos on how to spot a fake, looks like somethings add up some don't. So far from what I picked up from the videos is, on the back of the watch it says, "By BREITLING" just like that all caps. The bezel turns and crystal stays in place. The crown has a capital, looks like cursive B. Now the fishy stuff, it says "Manufactured in switchinternet" The serial or model number, A25362, doesn't match any other A25362 I've seen on the web.

I was going to take a trip to the Breitling store in NYC, I live close to city, and ask them if it is real. Have them look it over and order the band, and replace battery. The watch stops working everyone once in a while. Maybe another sign it's a fake. Thanks for any replies and help. Hope it is the real thing, but I didn't pay anything for it and my dad barely paid anything either.

Buzz Killington, well at least there wasn't much money invested in it. Thanks, ade113 for the quick reply, much appreciated. Let's see if I can get my hands on a real one now.
