Well I'm a southerner - born and bred - and yet I still reckon Cloughie was a legend!

"He should guide Posh in the direction of a singing coach because she's nowhere near as good at her job as her husband" - Advice for David Beckham.

"I want no epitaphs of profound history and all that type of thing. I contributed. I would hope they would say that, and I would hope somebody liked me." - On being remembered

Thanks I realised after hitting new topic that half the people on this forum would have no idea who BC is.
The quotes are great, what memories, if Brian Clough were a Watch he could only be a Breitling.

No, he is in management though can't remember exactly but Dagenham Redbridge comes to mind, then again maybe it was Bury!

He's definently managing tho!

Brian Clough was a great character - one of my lasting memories of football as a kid was the strange man who was always yelling and spitting whenever Forest were on TV.

Correct me if i'm wrong but i think Nigel Clough is still the manager at Burton Albion in the blue square premier league. He's nowt like the old man though
