Hour hand is incorrect, that would stop ME. Near impossible to source and that is enough reason for me to pass right there.

Thanks guys, appreciate the feedback as always. QUestion about vintage dials in general.

So for these 769's, is it just the hands that are hard to find, or is it easy to replace the dial?

And what constitutes or goes into a dial "restoration"? is it just a repaint, cleaning, or both?

I would clean it and that is it. Look for a replacement if it comes available but always keep the original with the watch to retain provenance. Just me.
