I am guessing that they have been sitting on the watch for some time and are just trying to move it quickly to make room for the newer pieces.

Assuming that it's an AD the contract with Breitling (or BUK in this case) requires sales targets of Bentley pieces to be hit or risk losing the right to carry Bentley. The older pieces will cost less to discount because they were purchased prior to price increases so will be the ones that get pushed. Nice bargain if it happens to be the piece that you want, but has a checkered history - Flying Bs saw this approach and still didn't sell at 50+% off. The dirty secret there is that Breitling had to buy some back.

It's the one they can't shift. Eventually, it will start costing you to have it sitting on the shelf, so to get rid if it you need to take drastic action. If I were the AD I would take the risk on loosing any rights by discounting. That's the economic reality.

I'm getting a Limited Edition Seawolf in 9 months but I'm kind of smitten with Breitlings so....
It's an impressive piece of watch but quite ostentatious to my eye.
Would love a SOH in black if there was to be a second filly in the stables!

Can someone identify what model/year this is?
Potentially there's an amazing deal if I do some heavy negotiation on a "I can walk away if I want" basis.
