My apologies if this has been covered before, I searched and couldn't find anything, probably because the Colt 44 doesn't seem to be held in much regard here. I am considering a Colt 44 as a daily wear and wondered what my options are for Breitling bracelets? Will be visiting the AD shortly but the site only lists the Professional. I like the Pilot or Pro II, do these fit? Are there any aftermarket bracelets which others recommend if no Breitling ones are available? Thanks in advance for any help.

I don't have the end link code (but your AD will), but the correct bracelet is the Pro II. There is no Pro I designed for the Colt 44 and a Pilot won't fit properly because end links are designed to match the case that the bracelet is made for.

I believe that only bracelet that will fit is Pro3, ref#-157A.

Other than the Pilot and Pro, you could consider a mesh bracelet, if you like the look of a mesh bracelet.
Here is my Breitling mesh on my Chronomat to give you some idea.

Also some aftermarket options:

44 was released before the Pro III though wasn't it? So there should be a Pro II?

I'm really not into newer models and their release dates, so there might be Pro2 as well.
Thank you for correction.

Correct! Pro II is available for Colt 44 and Colt Chrono. 157A

157A looks like Pro3 to me?

They are using the 157A reference for ProIII but images of ProII on Breitling website.
Perhaps that's where the confusion comes from.

I just double checked because I still have a Colt 44 on the ProII bracelet and the ref is 157A. The ProIII on the Colt is ref 173A.

Thanks everyone for all the great information, more than I could hope for. Unsure of my final choice but I am partial to Pro II.

Bnewbie I am smiling at your username Bnewbie (assume stands for Breitling Newbie). I am guessing after 12,000 posts and 7 years you aren't quite a newbie any more? :)

Thanks Wessa, Roffensian, Wim and Bnewbie

Your assumption is correct. :)
