Picked up this bezel last night. Not sure which model would use it. Outside diameter 44mm. Any idea?

Won't be able to measure it in person until I get it in a couple of days. There was a reference Rene made to a 44mm one here:

http://breitlingsource.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=34202&p=251442&hilit=avi+bezel+size#p251440

I thought it was a strange size too but it looks authentic.

The S Larose company that was selling these new is no longer in business but I have a line on a guy with some old S Larose catalogs and have asked him if the bezel is listed in any of them. Hopefully he'll come back with something definitive.

Looks like they were mislabeled as they measure about 42mm. I don't have a set of measuring calipers for a better reading. So what would it most likely fit?

Right from the book and a perfect match. I say we put Rene and Fred together with the bezel in the middle, the one with no money left gets it. :D

You always come up with the coolest stuff Paul. This bezel is worth having a Battle Royale over. The watches are starting to become scarce as they are.
