I'm so excited I can't hardly contain myself. As some of you may remember, several months ago I purchased a very nice all original 809 Navitimer Cosmonaute for a great price. It has been with my watchmaker since April 15th for a service and after having an extremely tough time sourcing a 24hr. minute wheel, everything has finally fallen in place. Anyway, I got the call I'd been waiting for this morning and it is now in the mail to me. My watchmaker sent me this teaser shot of how nice the dial pops after the crystal was lightly polished :wowzers. Other than that, no refinishing was done or parts replaced except the damaged minute wheel that I was able to source as a NOS part. I'll put it on a strap and take some "after" photos for you guys this weekend.

He did the work on my 810 last summer and does a fantastic job. If we can only keep him away from the knifes and pens maybe he would work a little faster. LOL!!

Thanks for the replies! Wayne - Glad to hear from another happy customer of Scott's. When I was researching people to send this to, he was one of only a handful that seemed trustworthy with a lot of prior experience on vintage Breitlings. Ha ha yeah, I hear ya on the long service times. I'm actually talking to them about buying a Graf Von Faber Castell Fountain Pen. They definitely carry a lot of cool stuff!
