I bought an Avenger GMT II about 8 weeks ago and love it, wore it for a few days then put it away for a while. I then started to wear it again and found that after three days working perfectly it stopped overnight. Though it a bit odd, having worn automatic watches for years and never experienced this before. Fully wound it up and three days later the same thing happened. Now it's back with the AD for return to Breitling fo repair.
Any ideas what might be wrong?
I thought it might be the weight not rotating properly as I also have a SOH and can sort of feel something moveing inside when I move it arround which I didn't feel with the Avenger.
Do Breitling tell you what they do on a warranty repairs?

Without having the watch to diagnose it it would be pure guesswork to figure out what was wrong. With a warranty repair you will likely only get a rudimentary expalantion of what they did.

Wouldn't know about how much they explain about the fault, but in my experience BUK has been excellent in terms of CS when I've telephoned. One of my Seawolves was a bit long with them for a service, and when I telephoned, they tracked down where it was and at what stage and were very helpful indeed. Hope it doesn't take too long for you.

Collected my GMT yesterday from my AD. All seems OK, I can now hear it winding when moved about.
The paperwork from BUK just says "put in order", with no other indication of what was done.
It has come back in a Breitling soft case with a nice polishing cloth with logo. Very pleased so far with the Breitling service. BTW it took 3 weeks from dropping it off to return.
