Well, I received my 815 NOS today and am not disappointed in the arrival. Just a perfect specimen that has not a mark or blemish on it. In the bottom of the box was a little note that read, "New old stock Breitling 815 and box purchased from Olde World Jeweler. Serviced. Returned to box". Very believable as strap is mint with just one hole used and perfect.
Sorry to say I have to move this one fast, got another watch on my must have list just come available and the boss said one or the other. But I can say I had one.

Sold it already. All I can say is if you can get one, BUY IT!! Wish I had not sold when I did. One get one with the NOS sticker however, this is key!!!!!

I wish i did! It looks great but it's just so hard to find NOS now.

There are a couple of very nice examples on the Bay currently but without the stickers and this really hurts the value tremendously.
I was lucky enough to pick mine up last fall for $1300. As you look at the dial, I was concerned with what turned out to be corrosion on the dial as diagnosed by ChronoDeco. I made a trade for another watch with the partner of WatchesToBuy.com and was very pleased with my transaction.
Until...... I noticed that it was listed and marked sold on WatchesToBuy. Me being me, I contacted the owner and asked him what it sold for. "Do you really want to know??, was the reply I was given. It was only on the site for one day to get sold at $2895. As far as I know this is the highest price that an NOS 815 has currently sold for.

do not see relevant correlation between sticker and realistic selling prices, as long as the watch is in comparable condition.

Thanks Fred, I would have pulled that thing off. I felt it was a distraction myself and something I was worried about messing up. Would have gladly disposed of it.

Love that Mr. Fred, he is the wealth of knowledge and keeps on educating.
